Guest Designer for SBS all week!!!!! Spunky Spooks! Betty Bolts and Baxter

Can you imagine just how excited I was when the lovely Betty from Simply B stamps asked me to be the guest designer for these previews??  Of course there was only one answer!

 MEET BETTY BOLTS AND BAXTER

Today we are previewing the first of a new collection of images by the very talented Alica Bell. They are called the 'Spunky Spooks' and as the name suggests they've got attitude as well as being a little on the spooky side.
Let me introduce you to Betty Bolts and Baxter. Betty is a doll, but she's not very bright, and is terribly accident prone; luckily her Dad is a mechanic and usually manages to put her back together with a few nuts and bolts. Her beloved Baxter is just as clumsy, so they make the perfect pair.

Here is my first card of the collection......Don't they make an adorable pair?
I have used Papers from Almanac by Prima.  Some of my favourite papers ever!!  The cogs, birdcage, and rough edges has all been covered in copper embossing powder from Wow and the shine they have is just gorgeous.   I used my pricking tool and waxed cotton to 'sew' the card together, just like the pieces of shin and fur have been sewn together on our Spunky Spooks themselves!!

Don't forget to check back to the main blog to see what the super talent team have been up to and please leave some love on each and everyone of our blogs.  I certainly love to hear what you think and I know the other girls do to.

Come back tomorrow to meet our second spook and her friend along with whatever mischief they are getting themselves into!!

Don't forget to tell me what you think!!
See you tomorrow
