SBS Challenge- Celebrations

Wow.... you wouldn't believe just how busy I am at the moment but all will become clear very soon!!  I am currently nothing but a pile of glue, glitter, embossing powder, pearls and pens right now!!  My living room resembles a nursey school art class!!!

During all the mayhem I managed to knock up this little card for My Mum's Craft Shop using the fabulous 'On the Go' papers from Bo Bunny.  These are brand new in the shop and are perfect for any young man with an obsession for vehicles.  I teamed them up with some funky arrows from Tando crafts grab bag and coloured them to match with my promarkers.

Now the image is a bit special...... it is infact a christmas clear stamp from Simply Betty Stamps and is called Christmas morning Oscar (he can be purchased here) from Betty herself.

I love the fact that there is nothing specialy christmasy about him so he is perfect for birthdays too.

Lilyrose from Magnolia

Hello everyone, I hope you have had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine we have been having here in good old Blighty!   My OH and son went fishing yesterday and even came back with a touch of sunburn!  I stayed at home, just not well enough to sit beside a lake in a breeze all day but for once, I didn't mind at all!   You see on Friday I had some gorgeous goodies arrive (early birthday pressie and a blog candy win!) and I just couldn't wait to get creating.

When I first saw LilyRose the Dragon from Magnolias Prince and Princesses collection I knew she would have to come and live with me!!  She is adorable.  I hope you like what I have created with her.

I have coloured her using very soft fleximarker colours and dusted the background with a touch of blue chalk.

Tag die from Magnolia

Lilac paper from stash
Punched border from stash

I am taking the leap and entering some magnolia challenges for the first time EVER this week!!  I haven't been brave enough before.

SBS Monthly challenge- Treat bag

Good evening peeps....

Just a quicky from me tonight as my asthma is very bad and I am already snuggled up in bed hooked up to my machines ready for the night!

So here it is......

This is my treat bag!  I have used the stunning Betty Addams from SBS and this time coloured her using my copics!  I have also used the large Tim Holtz grunge board flourish and distressed it with the 'Barn Door' ink pad.
I finally got my hands on the Memory box Country cottage and fence dies that have been sat in customs for a while so I just had to include them here!!  And it is all just finishes off with some scraps of ribbon, a few black gems and a clockpiece charm.

MMCS challenge 49...... use a digi.

Good morning crafters..

I hope you are all well.... now I know that you all love your stamps but how do you feel about your digis???

This week we are sponsored by the fabby Bugaboo!! whoop!!

So we thought we would challenge you to GET DIGITAL!! Yep digital images only for this challenge...
I decided to do something a bit different this time just to show how versatile digital images can be.......
A T-SHIRT!!!!

As regular followers will know by now I am a massive Simply B Stamps fan and this is just another of her adorable images.  At present this image (Lolli from The Croquettes collection) is only available in clear stamp form, I was lucky enough to grab her when she was digi aswell.  Although Betty is always doing different limited digi releases so you never know when these will pop back again!  Become a follower of the blog http://simplybettystamps.blogspot.co.uk/ so you don't miss out on anything!

I blew this image up to full A4 size using the GIMP programme which is free to download from here http://www.gimp.org/downloads/
I then printed it in black and white onto T-shirt transfere paper.  I took my time with lining it up and ironing it to the t-shirt just to make sure it was as perfect as I could get it.  It is then very important to let the transfere cool before pealing off the backing paper.
I then set to work colouring her!!  I used my Promarkers again (having already done a trial run before....which is a whole other story(!!) I know that the colour doesn't bleed or wash out.

This was made as a pressie for my beautiful niece...... who, and I quote, said....."This is my most favourite top I have ever seen and I am going to wear it everyday in the holidays!!"
You have to admit she does look gorgeous..... or am I just bias??

Having one offs like this makes her feel like a real princess and oh boy, does she like everyone to know it!!!
I am sure any child would love tops like this and there are so many fabulous digital images out there why not give it a go??

Don't forget to check out the main MMCS challenge blog to see what my super talent teamies have been up to.  And give it a go yourself..... why not try something a little different???

Have you been over to MMCS online store yet??  There are loads of fabulous new goodies in there and it is definatly well worth a look....... just please don't come after me if you end up spending!!

Would love to hear what you think of this.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlej............................................

Opps!!  That could've been dangerous!!!!

Well its time to show off another of the fabulous Burton Chibis 2 from SBS,  and in Burton world show offs don't come much bigger than BEETLEJUICE!

I was lucky enough to win the chance to play with him and GD for this release so obviously I jumped at the chance.

Here is my easel card.....(Photos really dark and yuck..... going to try to get some better pictures if the sun ever comes out today!!)

The purple and lime green are so bright reall!!

Anyway the card is coloured using my promarkers and I thought the stripy card would look great with his suit.
The gargoyles are by the very talented 'Forgotten scraps' who is also a DT member for SBS.  I thought they were perfect with Beetlejuice.

The area on the base of the card is left blank for any messege that seems fitting!!

Well I hope you like it...(I will try for some better photos) and don't forget to check out all the creations on the main SBS site.  They are AMAZING!!!
Three more days of previews to go before they are released..... any ideas who toorrows will be???  I haven't got a clue!!!
