That Craft Place Challenge - Animals

Its time for another challenge at That Craft Place
and this time we want to see ANY craft that involves
ANIMALS!

Pop on over to the challenge blog and see the wide variety of inspiration projects the fab DT have created.
Here is mine.....

There was meant to be a fimo model of Lilyrose aswell but unfortunatly it was like concrete so I need to invest in a lot more before I get playing properly again......

Obviously the stamp is from Magnolia (again!!) and I have used the 'no lines' stamping technique and coloured with my copic markers.    The papers are from Firefly from Prima.
Embellishments include doilie from stash, Die cuts from Die-namics die, selection of different flowers all available from the shop and a sprinkling of dew drops!

Make it Crafty spring hop!!

I know its hard to believe but we are meant to be in spring now!!  Maybe if we keep making pretty spring things and wishing it was here we might see a change in the weather soon..... who knows!!

Over at MIC we are celebrating spring by 'hopping' through a few of our blogs trying to get into the 'Spring' of things!!

Barbara - forgottenscraps.blogspot.com

I had some fun with one of my favourite MIC backgrounds here..... This is Daffodil Dell ... I use this loads!  It is a great digi to have in your collection.  Now I was very brave and tried something new that I had been putting off for a while and surprisingly enough it was easier than I thought..... maybe that is because Tracy from Crafteezee has written the best tutorial on doing this!!

I merged the digital background with 'Tilda with Big Tulip pot'..... she is one of my newest magnolias and you all know my slight obsession with them!!   The paper I used for the rolled flowers and the butterflies was made using a mixture of  Turquoise Blue, Fully Purple and Sweet Pea Tattered Angels Cosmic Shimmer sprays.  I then used the 'On the edge' Butterflight die from Tim Holts and a rolled rose die.

I then used two MIC Delicate Corner and four stems from the Butterfly Leaves chipboards and coloured them with some coloured pencils.  I finished this off with the antique paper distress ink and some perfect pearls.

Make it crafty and Tiddly Inks do Egypt!

Welcome to day 2 of the joint release and blog hop... today is the turn of the MIC girls to show you what we have been doing.

Here is mine!

I have used 4 gorgeous images here and merged them together to make this scene.
Two MIC backgrounds - Egyptian Pyramids and Desert Oasis
And Two Tiddly Inks Characters - Cleo - Queen of De Nile and denial and Eygptian Cuties Handmaiden

As luck would have it, whilst rummaging through my stash trying to find some decent backing papers to go with this, I came across a few sheets of Egyptian hyrogliphics ..... and yes I did let out a slight squeal of delight!!!!  I kept this fairly CAS because there is so much going on in the picture.  I finished off the corners with some of my favourite MIC corners and embossed them with Blue Glass embossing powder.

Copic Colours used
E31,E33,E15,E50,E51,E53,E39,E27, B24,B26,B28,B29, BG000,BG00, BG01, B12, YG63,YG67,YG97,C0,C1,C3,C5
For the gold highlights I used a Gold Gell Pen.
