Movie Magic Monthly - Star wars v Star Trek

 Its time for the battle of the geeks!!!

Our Challenge theme this month is:

STAR WARS VS STAR TREK

We challenge you to create a project based on any of the films in these two awesome sagas.  You can take part as many times as you like, so if you can't decide between the films, you can make one for each saga.  Your project can take whatever form you like, all we ask is that it's a new creation.

I chose Star Wars..... living with my OH I didn't really have much choice!!  

Even he created his own project!!  And to be honest, it puts everything I do to shame!!  Its a good job I love him.  You can see what he made at the bottom of the post!!  

First we have a baby Onesie!

Jedi in Training! 

This is a Saturated Canary image printed onto transfer paper and then ironed onto the onesie, not the best of surfaces to colour on but cute all the same!!!

This image is from Mayzy Art and the background paper I created myself whilst playing with my brand new Gelli Plate!!

And finally Graham's master piece!!

How fabulous is this??  Its a full size Darth Vader Helmet!!  This is called 'Pepakura' and its how the cosplay costumes are made..... this now needs to be resined and fiber glassed.  He spent many an hour swearing at this!!  Not to mention how many tubes of superglue and finger tips he lost in the process!!!
