Pretty colours at My Mum's Craft Shop

Today I am going to show you some fun I have had with the gorgeous new Pan Pastels and the beautiful Shanghai Nights and Tokyo Garden toppers from Kanban.

The colours are just beautiful.

I have used the Magenta pan pastel and blended this with the Turquoise using the specialist soft knives and covers.   They blend so smoothly, create very little dust and are so rich in pigment.

I then spritzed with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist as that is what I had to hand.  Kitty has similar sprays from  Dylusions which come in a variety of gorgeous colours.

Once dry I then used a selection of toppers from the Kanban collection and finished off with a few gold pearls.   Unfortunately the photo doesn't pick up the glitz from the spray but you get the idea.

I also made a matching corner bookmark.

These are very simple to do but they look lovely.

If like me, you are a bit unsure of trying new things something basic like these are a good way of playing.
This was my first go with the pan pastels and I can assure you I will be getting more.  I am looking forward to creating some beautiful sunsets with them.

I also made a very much more 'ME' card using the Shanghai Nights backing card.

Once again the lovely Tilda has been coloured with Copics.

Hope you like.
