SBS, 13 Days of Halloween Challenges, Day 3..... Where's my Mummy!!

Here we are with our Day 3 challenge!

Wheres my Mummy??

The idea of this challenge is to use gauze or bandages to 'wrap' up your projects.

And here is mine

I wrapped and decorated a bottle of wine!  After all, what 'Mummy' doesn't love a bottle of wine!!
I got a brand new crepe bandage which was far to clean, so I 'dirtied' it up by rubbing my distress ink pads over it.

The tag is actually made to resemble a dead body tag.... you know, the sort that gets tied around the toe of a dead body!
The brad says 'Truth Serum' and is from My Minds Eye, Lost and Found collection.  Obviously drinking to much wine makes you tell the truth!!!

The image I used was the gorgeous Rio Mummy and she is coloured using my copics.

I used the My Minds Eye papers and co-ordinating die cuts to make the bottle label.

So there you have my project!  ........ and now to drink the wine!!

Pop over to the challenge blog to see what some of the other girls have been up to and to enter your project.
Don't forget we have some great prizes on offer, including a DT slot for one lucky person who enters all the challenges!

Simply B Stamps 13 days of Halloween challenge 2

So who is ready for challenge number 2 then??

I just want to say we had some amazing entries for challenge 1 and I am sooooooooooo looking forward to seeing what you do for this and the up and coming challenges!

This challenge is ........

Witches Brew

Create something witch related.....
there are some fantastic examples on the SCC blog made by the DT again.
And here is mine

I altered a diary and made it into a
BOOK OF SHADOWS.

For those of you who don't know, a book of shadows is where a witch would write down all her spells and potions.  No self respecting witch is without one!!

I covered the diary in strips of brown wrapping paper after distressing them a bit with my Tim Holtz distress inks, I also used his grunge board shapes for the decorations and lock.
The image is the stunning 'Beatrix the Witch' from the Halloween Steampunks.

So what will you make?

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.

We're in the Halloween mood as always here at Simply Challenged Challenges, so it's time for our 12 Months of Halloween challenge for September, can you believe it's September already, Halloween is so close I can almost taste it!!

So this month it's Anything Goes!

We got to play with the Victorian beauties Halloween digis this week and I had

Zombie James!!

I made him into a treat box and filled it with eye balls and body parts!
Obviously not real ones!!  My secret pumpkin buddy has this in their package..... I think real ones might have been taking the Halloween theme a little to far!!

Pop on over to the challenge blog to see what the other girls have done and to add your entry!

Don't forget its the last day of our Teen Scene Jolly Christmas release!!
